I have a few points which may be of interest for you.

  • Tauhid Bondia is wrapping up the current Good Ship Chronicles storyline with a double-sized whammy of a comic. That'll be his fiftieth comic on GSC, after which he's going to take a break and knock some guest stuff together for other comics.
  • Euan Mumford, who previously wrote and art'd Rooms, is now rolling ever onwards with his next comic project, Backwards. This is a bold and daring attempt to turn thehilarious Red Dwarf novel written by Rob Grant into a full-colour... no, I'm joking. I don't want to spoil what his comic is actually about, but suffice to say it's good. I've read the scripts for the first five strips and it's going to be pretty golly gosh darn spiffy.
  • The now apparently named Filler Fortnight will begin on Tuesday with a page written by Andrew Taylor and put together by myself. Adding Filler Fortnight as a new issue has apparently broken the Archive page, but seeing as the entire website layout is getting an overhaul within the next two weeks anyway I don't think it's a huge problem for now. Edit: I've actually stuck the pages onto the end of Issue #1, so they won't display as their own issue. Just as well really, considering.
  • Work on putting the pages together for the print edition of Issue #1 is now well underway, and I'm happy with the way things are looking. To answer some of your questions: Yes, the pages are in higher definition than the web versions; No, the pages won't have JjAR's signature on every page, although his signature will appear on the slightly altered cover; Yes, there will be extra content; And yes, it will contain a preview of Issue #2.
  • While at Disneyland yesterday, I stumbled upon what may well be the best piece of Darth Vader merchandise in the cosmos. Behold!

Isn't that marvelous! They a do a Yoda one as well, but I wasn't impressed with it. I may have to pick up some more swag when we go again next weekend.
  • My copy of The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass arrived yesterday, along with what is now my second copy of Futurama Volume 2, and while I haven't had a good chance to play it properly, I am quite impressed with the controls so far. It's almost a much more polished version of the controls for Animal Crossing: Wild World. Speaking of which, there's a game which needs a Wii update...

Right, I'm done now.
