And now, a little insight into Page 20. A very early draft of the script for Issue #1 actually started at approximately this point - Meaney, Llewellyn and a captain who would have originally bore a stronger resemblance to Captain Whedon would be running away from some menacing force or another, and then this would happen. It would perhaps have got the story going a lot sooner, but you wouldn't know quite so much about who they were or what they were doing there. I wanted that build-up, that lead-in (narf), and so I expanded upon the original idea. I eventually plan to go further back than that, at some point writing a little more about how Meaney and Llewellyn actually met.
Jump Leads is now confirmed to be attending the UK Web & Mini Comix Thing 2008 on March 22nd in London. Visitors tickets are only 3 Pounds (I'd use the symbol but for some reason the website doesn't seem to like using it and throws up a � symbol instead), so if you're in the UK and you can get down for the day it would be great to see you. We'll have a variety of merch available including but not limited to badges and tee-shirts, as well as print editions of Issue #1. JjAR has said that he might be able to attend, but unfortunately he won't know until much, much closer to the date itself.
