This morning I emailed JjAR the script for Issue #10. It's a big deal, this issue. Primarily, it's the first issue that every one of the core writers -
Andrew,
Paul,
Euan and
myself - has contributed to. Usually a Jump Leads script is conceived and written entirely by one person, but in this instance I came up with a very loose plot, and the four of us fleshed it out and wrote it together. Words and everything.
I wonder if readers will be able to tell who wrote which parts?
Secondly, it's a culmination of three years of story. Earlier this month Jump Leads celebrated its third anniversary, and we're kicking off the first story of our fourth year with a real whopper. Trust me. You're going to love it. What's it going to be about? Well, we'll keep that a secret for the time being, but people have been speculating about the Hub's coordinates in the
comments for the latest page, and Meaney and Llewellyn are closer to getting back to the Hub than they've ever been before.
Thank you for three wonderful years. Whether you've been with us since the beginning or you only discovered us yesterday, I want to thank you for sticking with us, as well as for all your positive feedback. I know our update schedule is about as reliable as a car salesman's handshake, but we've always tried to deliver a fantastic story with great artwork, great laughs, and a story that's going somewhere. There will be some pay-off in the coming weeks and months, and I hope you'll continue to stick around to find out whats going on.
