Last year - oh, it feels so long ago now - I wrote a Red Dwarf comic with the aid of Kris Carter. In case you didn't know, Kris is the colorist for some of IDW's efforts including Doctor Who and Transformers (as well the writer and artist of Jump Leads #8, Waterworld). It's not an official effort or anything, although we'd hoped to have it ready for the perpetually about-to-be-published official Red Dwarf fan club magazine.

Anyway, today Kris emailed me samples of the first three pages. Finished samples. And he tells me he's nearly finished with the eighth and final page, too. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished article in the most glorious of high definitions, and I thought I'd share a little sample with you now:
