Kris Carter's
Waterworld has finished! Kris is the second Guest Writer to contribute a mini-story to the series, but he's the
first Guest Artist we've had. Well, the first Guest Artist we've had for an entire story, anyway. For this effort, we salute him.
For those of you who don't know, Kris is a Freelance Colourist and has coloured tons of stuff for publishers such as IDW. If you've read IDW's
Doctor Who comics then chances are you've seen his work - he coloured over half of fan favourite story "The Forgotten", and has also contributed to several
Transformers comics (a complete list can be found on his article at the
Transformers wiki).
For fans of scifi-comedy, Kris also wrote and drew a superb Red Dwarf fan-comic called "
Scoop of the Century", and he'll be arting it up once again for a Red Dwarf comic we wrote together entitled "Songs in the Key of Files", which should be available to read at some point in the near future.
I want to thank Kris for taking the time to throw together this story for us. I absolutely loved it - it was funny, well-drawn and, above all else, short! I hope you guys enjoyed it too.
