Before I begin this blog post, I'd like to remind you that our search for voice actors for a video version of Issue #1 continues. Do drop us a line if you reckon you could voice one of the characters from Training Day.
It's just over a month until the San Diego Comic-Con, and I'm pleased to be able to finally share the details of where you'll be able to find me. I say
me because unfortunately I'm going to be the only member of the Jump Leads team there. In a perfect world we'd have all five of us (or six if you count Pooka, who wrote
The Travellers). In a slightly less than perfect but still reasonably awesome world it'd be me and JjAR. Unfortunately I'm the only one of us who can afford to get to San Diego, by virtue of the fact that I happen to live in Los Angeles which is a couple of hours north.
But I digress.
I'll be at the
SoulGeek booth, which is booth
#2517. We're right by the Bongo booth (responsible for Simpsons Comics and Futurama Comics) and the Dark Horse booth (responsible for... well, tons of cool stuff).
I'll be sharing the booth not just with SoulGeek founder and voice actor
Dino Andrade (who webcomic aficionados will know as the voice of Skull the Troll in
PVP: The Series). There'll also be at least one
special celebrity guest at our booth, maybe even
two,
but I'm not sure if I can name these people yet so I shall sit on that knowledge until I'm given the all-clear Dino's given me the all-clear - joining us at the SoulGeek booth will be none other than star of not one but
two Battlestar Galacticas -
Richard Hatch! He'll be right there sat next to me. Which will be weird.
We may also end up being joined by
Crispin Freeman, a voice actor who has made use of his talents in
Hellsing,
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and
Naruto. Which is pretty damned awesome.
Our tee-shirt sale has ended, which is a shame, but congrats to all of you who snagged awesome tee-shirts while the prices were awesome.
