When you read Jump Leads, whose voices do you hear for Meaney and Llewellyn? Are they yours? Because they might be...

I've decided to try an experiment. I'm going to try and make a video based upon Issue #1 of the comic. It'll be the same story using the artwork from the page itself sans speech bubbles, and I'm looking for people interested in voicing the characters.

There are five male speaking roles in Issue #1 - Meaney, Llewellyn, Whedon, Lucas, and an unnamed Private. Ideally I'd say that I'd like at least Meaney and Llewellyn to have British accents of some sort but I shan't rule out the idea of an American for either role.

If you reckon you've got the chops for one of these characters pick a few lines from Issue #1, record an MP3 of 'em, and send it my way. Be sure to include "JLVid" in the subject header, along with the character you're sending an audition for. Anyone can send something in (apart from women, obviously - sorry about that) but I'd advise you not to bother if your recording doesn't sound clean (i.e. free of background noise, popping, etc).

This is largely experimental and purely for fun. The resulting video (or videos, if it's longer than ten minutes in total) will wind up on YouTube, and you'll be credited for your role.
