Future perfect tenses pop up in QM quite often. Unfortunately, modern language has not quite caught up with modern physics yet. What tense do you use to properly describe a past event that might have happened if another event would have happened in the future, but it will not?
I also think "General Relativity" instead of "Quantum Mechanics" would have worked well.
