It's hard to believe that two months ago I was considering giving up on Jump Leads. I was still looking for an artist - I had been for a year, as some of you well know - and I was at a low ebb with the whole thing. I was fed up. I just wanted to either get on with it or scrap it, and getting on with it began to look like an unlikely prospect.

it's hard to believe that less than two months ago I was told by a friend, Bonz, to contact some guy named JjAR knowing that the only connection between the two of us was that we like to play the same computer game. But I did, and I was completely surprised by the compliments JjAR sent back in return, not to mention the quality of his concept art.

It's hard to believe that it's been a whole month since Jump Leads launched. One month! That may not seem like much to you, but to me it's a huge achievement. Page 8 will be goi up in little over three hours. I was scared we wouldn't even get this far, but we have. It's incredible. JjAR's work is incredible. And, bugger it, my writing's not bad either.

It's hard to believe some of the compliments and kind words we've received from all manner of places. From Jeremy and Eric of Truck Bearing Kibble, from ArtPatient.com, from Tauhid Bondia of Good Ship Chronicles, and from readers who have taken the time to either sign up on the forum or drop me an email. That's nice. That's... that's nice.

It's hard to believe that we're very nearly halfway through Issue 1. I hope you enjoy what's to come.
