So it seems that every week I stumble upon a brand new webcomic for you to sink your teeth into. Last week it was
Truck Bearing Kibble, which is quite simply the best webcomic I've discovered this year. The week before that it was
Starslip Crisis (I've just ordered their first book, incidentally). This week it's a comic I actually discovered
last week, but I didn't want to cram in too recommendations so close to each other.
Last week, via
Starslip Crisis' sponsored links (of which Jump Leads is a proud... link), stumbled upon yet another scifi-comedy,
Good Ship Chronicles, which plays out as a sort-of cross between
Star Trek and
The Office, only much better than you'd think. I just realised today that the comic is in fact the handy work of Tauhid Bondia, creator of one of my favourite but sadly now defunct webcomics,
Spells & Whistles. The art is superb and the strip lives up to Tauhid's usual nectarous brand of humour. Give it a look, read the archives
from the beginning (there are, to date, only 20 strips), and give Tauhid the courtesy of telling him how wonderful his comic is.
You may also want to pop over to
Rooms again, as Euan has been rather adventurous with today's strip and I think it's paid off well.
