...we conquered! The Thing was tons of fun. Thank you to everyone who bought a comic (whether you'd heard of us or not!) and a special thank you to the group of fans who came out just to see us. That really means a lot to me, and to know people out there are enjoying the comic makes me feel all warm 'n' fuzzy on my inside parts. So thank you.
As well as sitting at the table and selling Stuff, I also joined a Planned Very Much At The Last Possible Minute Panel with some guys whose names I've completely and utterly forgotten (apologies for that, people I was on the panel with!) which was thoroughly enjoyable. We were discussing what had drawn us all to webcomics, with four out of five of us saying that you don't do webcomics for the money, largely because there isn't any. I like to think it's that kind of positivity that makes me such an appealing guy. We all agreed on one thing, though - we all love working on our webcomics, and that's ultimately what's most important.
Apologies for the lack of Webcammery, though. There was no mains socket near us and (to my knowledge) no wireless connectivity either. I'll try to get a table nearer a wall next year, although I imagine I'll be at another con before then.
Oh, and one more thing - I was sat next to the awesome peoples from Dr McNinja. They were definitely awesome peoples and I would recommend that you awesome peoples read their equally awesome webcomic.
