It's a few hours late, but considering we're usually up bang on midnight I think you can forgive us. I would've posted something here, but it felt somehow wrong to push the Terry Pratchett news off of the front page.
Interesting factoid: When I wrote the "final" version of the script for Issue #2, it was long. Very long. And as we were going up at a rate of one page a week at the time, I thought it best to shorten the script. I made both scripts available to JjAR, but suggested he use the shorter one. Only recently did he realise he was using the longer version of the script...!
So from this point on, the truncated script is being used. Which is good, I think, because it gives Meaney more dialogue, moves the story along at a much nicer pace, and if nothing else this interrogation scene is much, much better in the shorter version. I am pleased you guys got to see the full-length version of the "caught in the Cargo Bay" scene, though. I imagine I'll make the full, unabridged script available as a PDF or something once this issue is finished.
I still haven't received the Issue #1 proof for the print edition, which ComiXpress assure me is on its way. I'm hoping I get it before the end of the week. If I don't, then we'll be looking at a mid-January launch for the print run. To tide you over, I'm making sure tee-shirts will be available before then, so watch this space.
