Jump Leads Keep up with any Jump Leads updates http://www.jump-leads.com/ en-uk Jump Leads is created by Ben Paddon. Art by JjAR Issue #3 Cover Up... ...Except the website seems to think it's some mythical "Issue 7", and the "Previous Issue" button has died. Hm. I've dropped an email to SupSuper the Web Gorilla, but he's in Portugal and is probably asleep right now, if he has any common sense. We'll get it sorted ASAP - tomorrow, hopefully. http://www.jump-leads.com/news/181 http://www.jump-leads.com/news/181 Ben <ben@jump-leads.com> Fri, 16 May 2008 00:04:35 +0000 Issue 7 - Cover Page 0 of Issue 7 posted on 2008-05-16 ]]> http://www.jump-leads.com/comic/ http://www.jump-leads.com/comic/ Ben Paddon <ben@jump-leads.com> Minor site tweakage I've pulled a extremely exciting. The other big change I've made has been to the boxes underneath this news frame. The text in the "Older News" frame has been made slightly smaller to accommodate a brand-new "Donate" button which replaces the one that was in the right-hand frame (and also because I got fed up of long newspost titles getting textwrapped). The donate button that was in the frame on the right has been replaced to links of websites of people I either know or webcomics I just happen to like (the latter category covering know them). There are also buttons for SkyScraper. SkyScraper is a site that Euan Mumford and I have set up as a sort-of hub for our writing projects. We do a lot of work together (as evidenced by the fact that he's the writer of the upcoming third issue of the comic) and it made sense to set up some kind of collaborative blog. We'll be recording podcats at some point in the future, too. Finally, I'm still sitting on about 80 or so copies of the print edition of Jump Leads #1. I need to sell these before I can even begin to think about doing any more individual-issue print editions, so I'd love it if you bought a copy. It's only $10 including shipping (or $13.50 if you're outside the US) and I'll even sign a copy for you at no extra cost if you ask me nicely. Apparently the buttons broke the site for Internet Explorer users. I've fixed that now. Tauhid and made a few aesthetic adjustments to the site. The first change, and it's probably the biggest of the lot, is I've moved the banner ad up to the top of the page again. I may well rethink the ad entirely in the next couple of weeks or so - Dino Andrade of SoulGeek suggested that, as an advertiser, he's more likely to buy ad-space on skyscraper-sized spaces (the long, thin, tall ones you generally find on the side of webcomic sites), so I may be tweaking the site design there. The problem is I don't want the website to look off-balanced, and I'd rather not have to go through each comic to resize them to be ever-so-slightly smaller to give me more room at the side, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do there. I'm sure you lot find this all extremely exciting.

Guest Strip by Joe Ketterer Joe Ketterer of today's incredible guest strip. He's definitely a man after my heart. The cover for Issue #3 - "Trojan Horse" written by the insuppressible possibility that we may have one more guest strip for you. That depends on whether or not it's ready in time. It's guaranteed to be a good'n, though... partially because I helped write it but mostly because it was conceived and drawn by someone just as awesome as Joe Ketterer. If it's not ready before Friday I'll try and squeeze it in elsewhere for you. ManicRepressive.com has provided us with today's incredible guest strip. He's definitely a man after my heart.
