Ooh, foreshadowing! I loves it.

But let's not forget they've had foreshadowing at the end of every chapter so far. (Well, every big chapter since 3.)

They've yet to tie a single one back to the plot. It's more for comedy, I'd say, than anything else.

But this one seems ... different, somehow.

They REALLY wanted them dead!

(I was gonna post this like when the comic came out.

I would not say -none- of them tie back into the plot.
One of them (the one where the worms were possessing people) implied that Llewellyn had some secret he was keeping from Meaney. And this issue specifically stated that Llewellyn KNEW they were going to get on a ship, and be involved in some sort of covert rendezvous. Obviously, the mission went nuts when the Captain died, but there had definitely been more happening that Meaney knew about. And the fact that Hayter new Llewellyn, and had waited for him for a time, says to me... well... it says that things are finally starting to tie together.
