Well, that could have gone better.

Wonder whether we'll see those two again?

Nice Life on Mare bit.

""Nice Life on Mare bit.""

yeah, patrick, unless you are still smarting from the ridiculous ending slapped on the finale of the american version of life on mars. it had been a great show, wrongly cancelled but then the word that they were going to redo the season finale to put an ending on the series. it would truly have been better if they never got that chance. the last 10 five minutes made for one of the 2 or 3 worst series endings ever.

enjoying the jump leads series though. that's a nice thing about a webcomic, no exec saying, "um, were not going to let you make any more of those."

Actually, the Editor-in-Chief of SoulGeek Webcomics has been in and had a word with me today. Fortunately, as the Editor-in-Chief is me, I think I talked him out of some of the more radical changes suggested.

I don't think the world is ready for Meaney/Llewellyn slash fiction just yet.

I think this is an interesting situation that's good for showing off the contrast between our two Lead characters (pun completely intended)- Llewellyn seems interested in the necklace and might be on his way to figuring out that magic might be more effective at getting them home than their particular brand of science, but wouldn't give a rat's ass about getting home even if he did, and Meaney, still clinging a bit too closely to the Lead Service's priorities relative to his own, blows the whole thing by not thinking hard enough (as one might expect) about what the necklace could mean for him. Fun, thought-provoking stuff, even before we get to thinking too hard about Tim, Sarah, the necklace and what lies in their past and/or future.

"I don't think the world is ready for Meaney/Llewellyn slash fiction just yet. "

That looks like a dare.

Oh no! Ben, what have you done?

Meaney/Llewellyn I just don't see. That's, er, sort of one of the reasons I came up with Tim/Sarah...
