Yeah the art style seems to have changed, it seems a lot... smoother.

I have to admit, I prefer the old look. M and Ll seem a bit "uncanny valley" here somehow.

"seems to be base on magic" - shouldn't that be "based on magic"?

Llewellyn doesn't look pissed/sarcastic, something is wrong.

Oh-oh...Ok. This visual style is just an experiment. That is what four page stories are good for. By the way, that's why the pages uploaded with a delays. This time I decided to draw main chars in a little more cartoon realistic way...I'm still not sure about it, but I really want to change the old style because of...I don't know...It does not satisfy me anymore and I want something new....Who knows. It's still two pages left.

Fair enough, it's always good to experiment. It's just... I dunno, it's not something I'd be happy with if it became permanent.
I think my main issue is that Our Heroes don't look as expressive with their eyes done like that. There's also less of a sense of Meaney and Llew's opposing characteristics being conveyed - in the old art style, Meaney was, quite literally, the wide-eyed idealist most of the time, while Llew's lowered brows conveyed his cynicism. Now their eyes look too similar.
In a funny way, the new eye style works well for Tim and Sarah. But seeing those eyes in M and Ll's faces just doesn't sit right with me. Oh well.
Despite the negative criticism, I have to say I particularly like Meaney's hair and Llewellyn's goatee. And I fully encourage you to experiment with your art style, JjAR - do what feels natural
I don't really mind the new eye style, but it became a lot more "apparent" when looking at the Leads in this page than it did when looking at Tim and Sarah on page one. Still, since they're from a different dimension, I suppose it's forgivable for them!

Well, for some reason, Llew looks bored. I want the pessimistic angry lowered-eyebrows styled face back, for some reason. It looks more original this way. But, it's an experiment, and experiments are always good. Go on, JjAR!

I am too of the opinion that the old style was better. Llew just doesn't feel like Llew anymore...

The softened style seems more medieval/disney, however the sharper earlier style feels more Sci/Fi. Which I too preferred. Onto another topic, it seems as though you are developing Llew' into a "leader"/"strong hero" character from the position of boy at the start. If this is intentional then you are managing it very nicely as the pace of dev' is smooth and not immediately apparent. Well done

Whoops, Apologies I was referring to Meaney, not Llew in my comments in the last paragraph of the comment above
Do you mean just in this issue? My intention was to have Meaney initiate the conversation because Tim & Sarah's position potentially could affect the Lead Service, and Meaney takes his position as a Lead more seriously than Llew. He's not a leader... just eager.
Meaney and Llew work together in this issue but I wasn't trying to do anything clever with their status. As far as I'm concerned, they're both trainees, albeit Llew is more experienced, so they are of equal status and there's no de re leader.

No, I meant since the beginning. You see I am new to your strip and read the entire thing from ep 1 to 160 in one sitting. It just seems like he has slowly developed from a shy, reserved, unconfident goof into a confident young man, of good moral character whom has now become an equal with Llew, thinks for himself and is possibly exceeding Llew with regard to relationships with females.... ?
or are they link and zelda?
