I like lew in that outfit, makes him look tougher. Can he keep it?

I was about to say the same thing. It's great to have Llew in a different outfit now, it better fits his character and it helps separate him from Meaney. (By this I mean, now Meaney is still a Lead and Llew really isn't, and that's been fairly true even from the beginning.)

I absolutely LOL'd at the facial expressions in the last three panels. Jjar's art is one of the main reasons I love this comic. When is the book coming out? Do want!
I'm no scientist, but it might be the car they just crushed.

Jjar's art has always been fittingly amazing, but something about this strip in particular looked a lot better than usual.. I especially like the background in the first panel, and Llew's new clothes.
Also, JakeS, I think he's carrying a duffel bag.

Ack, nevermind. It apparently is a bit purse-ish. Though it could be a messenger's bag.

Messenger bag. But if a woman was carrying an identical bag, most people would call it a purse.

"most people would call it a purse." - most people would call it a handbag if it was that size...
"something about this strip in particular looked a lot better than usual" - JjAR did tell us writers that he'd be testing out a different colouring style for this issue. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Hi folks.....Yes, I'm using a new coloring methods. With new brushes in Photoshop and with more detailed shadow/light scheme. And also now I'm doing background more dark and deep, because the previous style been more flat. I'm glad how it's looks, but it's all takes about twice more time than usual.
Oh...and by the way.....This is a laptop bag. I dont' know why I've done it in purple and in that kind of form.....Maybe I'm not so good in drawing LAPTOP BAGS

I gotta say, all things aside I love the new outfits and I sincerely hope it sticks. They look fantastic.
Also, I've been reading almost since day one and I would like to take the time to say you guys absolutely rock.

Darn you ! I just wandered in from Starslip and... poof... there goes an hour or so. Excellent work though, snappy writing, great art, and got a few laughs out of me as well. Looking forward to more!

I like the new coloring scheme, it seems a lot softer and has much smoother gradients. That, and the missing sig, were why I mistook the prior one as a guest submission.
And I think the reason the guy's bag looks "purse-ish" is because its got the buckled flap rather than a zip-top, and you never see the bottom to see its true dimensions. But I was more interested in the expressions on their faces as well. I kept thinking of what thoughts might be going through that guy's head. LOL Hope he saved a bunch with Geico!
